How to pass the ACCA P2 exam...
13 May 2016
The Corporate reporting exam requires a deep understanding and knowledge of the conceptual framework, IFRSs and code of ethics. Questions at this level will challenge the candidate to show this knowledge and then apply it to a scenario. Your learning is expected to go beyond a single textbook or revision course. Rote learning doesn’t help either. The well-prepared candidate would have reviewed relevant websites, including those of the standard setters (IASB), the profession and ACCA. Your knowledge has to be keep up-to-date.
As a professional accountant you will be expected to advise clients, finding the correct accounting treatment and its implications to any complex scenario asked.
