Double success for ICAEW PQ

Some 1,700 ICAEW PQs took a giant step towards becoming an ACA by passing their advance stage exams. Among the annual prize winners, Alexander Hird from Garbutt & Elliot in York, achieved outstanding success with two top awards. He received joint first place and the Walton prize for his result in the business change paper and also joint first place and the Peat prize in the advanced stage annual international order of merit (phew).
In all some 3,654 students took exams in November. The advantage stage pass rates were: Business Reporting – 77.4%; Business Change – 82.5%; Case Study – 73.9%.
