ACCA 'online-only' options

13 January 2012

The ACCA has announced that in future UK and Irish PQs will have to go online for registration, exam results, exam entry and exam dockets. From early 2012 the ACCA won’t be issuing any paper. The other countries who are going down the online –only route are Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. That, however, still leaves more than 150 countries where paper still appears to rule! The ACCA says that “most students are currently interacting with ACCA online and this initiative reflects student demand for, and positive feedback on, our online services”.
The ACCA also explained it was introducing improvements to its exam results service, including the length of time between the end of the exam session and the release of exam results. The December 2011 results will hit the streets on 13 February and if the ACCA continues to provide the same service in June then the results will be ‘out’ on the week beginning 20 August. It would have been a week earlier but the exams themselves were pushed back a week because of the Queen’s Jubilee.
