The ICAEW has set up a website that describes the processes that auditors go through to give their opinion on companies’ financial reports. The new site also has an interactive section where questions can be posted and answers will be provided. Now the ICAEW is claiming, and who are we to disagree, that the website is intended to provide unbiased, objective information in layman’s language to help improve the understanding of audit.
