Tax is a winner!

The June professional results have hit the streets and those studying tax will be particularly pleased! Of the 2198 candidates sitting the exam a whopping 91.8% passed with flying colours. Overall some 3,888 ACA PQs sat the June test and some 76.5% passed all the papers they sat. Just under 1,000 PQs now move on to the Advanced Stage.

Students had to wait a little longer than usual if they opted to receive their results by mail – as there was a postal strike on the day the results were due to be delivered. A drill down into the results also shows that students sitting three papers did better than those who sat just one (See PQ magazine for this story).
The pass rates for this sitting were: Business Strategy 80.2%; Financial Reporting 75.1%; Financial Accounting 85.2%; Taxation 91.8%; Financial Management 86.3%
