Ethics gets a pep-up
09 January 2013
CIPFA is beefing up ethics guidance to its PQs in the newly launched Practical Experience Portfolio (PEP) scheme.
Effective from January 2013 the PEP will include a compulsory ethics component in all evidenced activities.
Among the other changes is a promise for quicker reviews of portfolios and a single guide for both students and employers.
Another move that will please PQs is the removal of submission deadlines.
Portfolios will in future be able to be submitted as soon as they are ready. The PEP replaces the IPDS, which has been running since 2004.
