Accountancy is for rich kids!

Accountancy in the UK has become an elitist profession where only the rich kids get on. Who says? Well, a report from the Fair Access to the Professions Panel actually. They have found that even graduates from middle class and lower income families don’t stand a chance becoming qualified chartered accountants. The worryingly thing is that accountancy seems to becoming less ‘accessible’. The panel said that it still works that if you have been to an independent (private) school you get the nod – great to see the British class system still alive and well then!
