Fancy socks

Now we all know certain accountants who like to wear a novelty tie but one big employer has recently come down hard on such poor fashion sense.

Ambulance chiefs in the north west recently hit the headlines for banning novelty socks. It was argued that the wearing of such items was unprofessional, along with wrist watches, visible piercing, excessive make-up and tattoos. The employers argued that socks were provided as part of the uniform so there was no excuse. Sounds like the accountants are doing a good job here.
